A lot of time has pasted

Well its 2013 and I know its been awhile since I have been posting. This year I want to make time to post at least on ething every week about what is going on. It will take me awhile to get everyone caught up but please bear with me I will do my best to make this as quick as I can. There are new things on this since I have been on it should be a challenge to figure everything out.

Our Family has grown... We know have 3 grand babies (all Boys) 
Bentley Thomas... Carter James... Zander Dale Patrick

 Bentley is getting big will be three this year growing fast and looking like his dad more and more everyday. Amanda has done a super job raising him as Devon is trying to deal with a couple of problems so he may come home and help raise his son. I know that is has been hard for her to do it on her own but she has managed to get her out on her own (she has a very cute apartment) and she is making sure that Bentley has everything that any little boy needs to grow healthy and strong. Keep up the great work Amanda your doing great.

Carter Came to us on August 20, 2011. Patience relized that becoming a parent was not as easy as some would think. Although the first year was hard it was very rewarding. She has been able to see him grow and become his own self. (not really he acts just like she did) As the year went by he became more independent and grows up way to fast. Keeping his mommy moving and wondering what he will do next makes it all worth it.

Zander Dale Patrick come to us on June 21, 2012 Although their was not much time between him and his brother for Patience to recoop she seems to manage. Zander has had some hurdles to over come since God brought him into this world but he is a strong little boy and jumping over them with ease. He has now figured out he has a voice and is starting to roll over (at least trying) as with his brother he keeps his mommy moving.

Our kids have become young adults...

Patience has becoming a working women and came to the conclusion that it is best to be at home with her boys. As everyone knows being a mommy is a full time job but the pay is not that good but the rewards are priceless. She has a great guy in her life (Zander's daddy) he has stepped up not only to being a daddy to Zander but one to Carter to. They are both excited about gettting a place on their own and becoming a true family. She is not only a lovely young lady but a wonderful mommy to.

Austin is a Senior this year (can you believe it) and looking at different things that he may want to do to continue his life. He has become an man faster than I would have hoped ( but I couldnt keep him a baby forever) But I know he will become very sucessful in life. I look forward in helping him become a better adult in the furture and watching him achive the goals that he has made for himself.

Megan is a Junior this year and looking into the Navy for her furture. She is becoming an adult more and more everyday. She has a job that she enjoys ( the money is not bad either) and she is starting to realize that money didnt grow on trees and is greatful for all the things that she has gotten over the years.

As for Rocky and I we have had alot of changes in our life and would not change anything. We have great kids and wonderful grandkids that make every day bright and worth getting up for. We look forward to the many years that we can not only see our kids become better adults but watch our grand babies grow and make their parents nuts like they did us as they grew up.

Just to give everyone a heads up. I will be starting to update this blog more often in the months to come. Soooo much as happen and not enough time to share things. But will try to do better here soon. Keep checking back to see New Posts.

Devon had Bentley Andrew Thomas Strader was born November 15, 2010 and Krissy (one of Patience friend) Had a baby girl Addison Leigh Kinder was born November 20, 2010. It is so exciting to have two wonderful grandkids.

OUR HOUSE

Well thought I would get on and let everyone know what has happened. We have bought a new house needs some work but we love it. Here are some before pictures and some in between.

After 12 years of school Patience Marie graduation!!!! If you were not able to come here are some of the pics. Hope to see evryone on the 5th of June it starts at 5pm @ the McComb Church Of Christ in the gym.

I can't believe

After 18 years of being out of school!!! I have discissed to go back. I will be going to Owens hopefully in the fall. I thought about going back into nursing but I have discissed to go back and get my degree in culinary. Scared is not a word to describe how I am feeling but I know God will help me get through it. Will be going on Monday to get paper work started. Wish me luck and keep me in your prayers.

Summer is almost here

Well the end of school year is amoung us and shortly after that we will be putting Austin and Megan on a plane to Florida. For a summer filled full of fum with Grandma and dad. I just hope it will be more exciting than last year. The good thing about last year they caught up on movies LOL!!!! Hope this year I will be able to hear about exciting adventures. Please keep them in your prayer for a safe trip to and from. We will miss them bunches!!!!
