Day Off

This was my first day off in about a week. I slept for a few hours then Roscoe and I got our bedroom cleaned fixed supper and started on the down stairs. mopped and swepted floors and then started to clean carpets, finished dishes and did some laundry. (man you get behind fast when you both work 7 days straight) I heard from Patience around 6:30pm and she said everything went ok today (Rick got remarried) she was going to start packing and getting things around. They come home on Monday July 13 @ 6:15pm we pick them up in Detroit Mi at the airport. The house has been quite but we are really ready for them to be home and has missed them buches. Megan has got all of patience's clothes back in her room and have her room clean just like she had it. (got to love sisters being gone) It has been nice to spend a quite day with my husband before our house becomes a loud hang out again. Hope everyone had a safe and happy weekend. God Bless

Soon

We now only have 4 days and we will picking up the kids from the airport. I have been talking to them about every day since they have been gone and they are so ready to come home. I wish I could go down and get them down but I just can't tickets are already paid for and the date is already set. It has been the hardest for Patience she is really HOME sick, she is not really away from me for a very long period so this was a very hard trip. I know they are now having some fun they were getting tired of watching movies and being stuck in the house. They have went shopping with Grandma Mitchell and went and seen Grandpa Mitchell's grave. And getting ready for their dad's wedding. They really didn't have anything good about this to say but if their dad is happy then they will be happy for him. They haven't really cared for his soon to be wife but I have taught them to speak their mind but be nice at the same time. And they really do no want to up set their dad. They will always love their dad but they look at Rocsoe as a Father they never had. We miss them oh so much but they will be home soon.

This would have to be my Favorite Photo. Just because this was our first family picture after Rick left the house. We had been through alot but we seemed to be able to put on a smile. We grew stronger with every day that past and was able to come together and help each other through those tough days. My kids were (my rock then kinda funny when you always think the parent should be the rock) but they helped me be strong through some very rough times.

Happy Fourth of July

Our fourth was kinda boring we went to my parents house last night and saw the fireworks that McComb put on. They were very pretty and loud. That is always the best part! After they were done I had to hurry and put my work clothes on so I could go to work. said good bye to Megan and Rocky and went to work. Talk to Austin and Patience on the phone on my way ( like everynight) and They are so ready to come home but really dont want to upset their dad so they will toughen it out. ( only 9 more days guys hang in there). After work I come home and slept for awhile then helped Rocky get the yard cleaned up, mowed, and weeded. then we cooked chops on the grill and a fresh salad from our garden and played rock band for a couple of hours due to me having to go to work again tonight. Our day was not very exciting but we were a family (minus a couple of kids) and we had fun. I hope your Fourth was safe and fun.

True Friend

Have you ever had someone in your life that you could talk to about anything? I have found that person who will listen when I need to vent, who will tell me the truth no matter if it will hurt and even be there when I just need a shoulder to cry on. A friend that will stand beside me through good and bad, through tough and smooth times and that has unconditional love that never has an ending point. Every one should have on of these by there side and God has finally brought me one of his special angels to help guild me through life and help me make the chioces that he would like me to make. He is my friend, my lover, and most of all his is my Husband. With out him my life would be uncomplete.

Phone Call

The kids called me late last night and told me that were ready to come home. It broke my heart to know that I was not ablt to go get them. They said they are not having to much fun all they do is watch movies. They havent been able to go to the beach due to the weather. I havent been away from from like this a a long time. I can not wait for them to come home. Keep them in your prayer maybe their trip will get better.
