Kids are on their way

Kids have just left to go to Florida. please keep them in your prayers for a safe trip there and for a safe flight on July 13 when we will pick them up in Detroit.

Farewell Bondfire

These are some pictures of our family bondfire that we had last night before the kids left for Florida. The time was fun was able to laugh and play some jokes before we had to say goodbye to Patience and Austin. We roasted hotdogs but didnt have roasting fork so the kids used sticks all but Austin he had to be different he put the shovel in the fire got it really hot then placed his hot dog on the shovel he said the fire was to hot to get close to. Gotta love him!! Patience, Krissy and Megan played ring toss. Thay had to break out the hose and have a water fight, as you can see Patience got a little out of hand and had to be put back in reality ( with help from dad). The boy in the picture is Patience new boy friend Alex. Roscoe and Austin came up with a new game "deck toss" we had an old deck that needed to be tore down so when we tore it down we decided just to burn it. Then we had smores we ending the night with a very interesting family talk cleaned up the back yard and came in the house so everyone could get some sleep. They will be very well missed.

Father's Day

Fathers day has came and gone. Seeing I had to work most of the weekend I didn't get to spend as much time with Roscoe as I hoped. The kids didn't get home until almost 3pm. Devon woke him up at 6 am to go fishing ( so much for sleeping in on his day) but he didn't mind enjoying sometime with his son is all he wanted. After I finally got a little sleep we ate supper early and enjoyed some family time playing Rock Band which is really silly and fun with the boys on bass, guitar, and drums and girls singing. The day ended with the kids giving out presents. They all chiped in and got him a new tackle box and filled it with all kind of goodies. It also had some special snacks in it ( John Deere fruit snacks) which he smiled and said thank you ( he is an Furgison man) but it was all fun and done out of love. My gift to him was new darts for his dart board as always it was Harley Davidson. The night ended with hugs, kisses and saying good night. As the kids went to bed and I went to work Dad was finally able to get some well deserved sleep. I want to tell all the fathers out there I hope you had a wonderful Father's Day. I know this family did.

Flordia

Well as you know Austin and Patience will be leaving soon to go see their father. I am not sure if they are excited or just excited to get it over. They have been spending alot of time with their friends and little time at the house but I am ok with that seeing that I have them at night. They are slowly getting packed. I know this time they are not as excited as before because normally they are non stop talking about what they want to do and this time they dont say to much about the trip but "yep its getting closer mom". I wish them a safe trip and will be glad when they are back home. Magan will not be going this year because she has decided to stay in Ohio and do cheerleading that she has been working very hard at. Summer is going by so fast it seems like before long it will be time to go school shopping. God please keep my children safe as they journey down to florida and bring them back to me in a piece. Please keep them in your prayers so they my have a safe trip.

Have you ever.......

Have you ever made a choice in your life that you may have second guessed yourself? We all make choices everyday but how many of us really think about it before we come up with our choice. I have made a couple choice in my life that I would have wished I would of thought about a little more before I acted on them. How so you take it back?........ How do you change your mind when you know it will hurt someone that you may care about more than you know?..........
Do you do nothing at all and just stick to your choice?........Do you tell that person how you really feel?............or Do you do nothing at all? ..............These are questions that always run through my mind and I can never seem to get the answers to. So I thought I would go to my blogg family and ask for some advice. I pray everynight that God will get me through another day and he seems to but those questions are still there

Family Vacation

Roscoe and I are talking about a vacation so we can get some family time in before the kids go back to school. Not sure where we will go but a couple of ideas are coming up. We just haven't made a choice yet. Time is the biggest blocker in our plans. We can not come up with a date that we can get away for more than 48 hours and to me that is not a vacation. By the time we would get on the road it would be time to come back home. Patience and Austin will be leaving on the 27th of June and we need to go get them on the 13th of July maybe we will take a couple of days then and make that our family vacation. Still thinking about that one. It would be nice to go somewhere warm and that we could swim with the sharks lol I have been there before ( my kids and I lived there for about 7 years before we moved back to Ohio) but Roscoe and Devon has not so it would be kinda nice seeing I would know where to go to see sites and eat cheeep.

Did you know??

Well the time is coming when we will loose Patience and Austin. They are planning on going down to Florida to visit their grandmothers and thier father. They will be leaving around the 27 th of june and Rocky and I will go get them on the 13 of July. They will not be gone for very long but will be missed very much. Megan decided to stay behind and do cheerleading something that she has worked very hard at. The house will be a little quieter but I am sure we will be able to adjust. lol
